2010: Off to a good start...

Mom dressed me up in her alma mater's clothes for the Cotton Bowl. She went to the game but said it wasn't a good one...but she said she still had the love. My parents and their Cowboys...

Also, Mom's friend JaNette brought her daughter Katherine over to play last week...it was fun. She's a riot and loves to talk. Can't wait til she comes back.

Santa Baby: My First Christmas

(8.5 months old)

We started the week before at Dad's family's for a fun afternoon Christmas. I got lots of gifts and loved playing with Kennedy.

Then we headed to Oklahoma...

Where we had party #1 at Great Grandpa and Grandma Brakhage's...there were lots of people there.

And, I'm a total Papa's girl. We butt heads and laugh all the time. I'm goofy like him, Mom says. he turned the big 6-0 that day so we surprised him with a party that night.

12/24: It was a white Christmas Eve...the parents say that it's rare and special. I had fun playing with my toys and seeing all my cousins.

I even sat in Santa's lap...he brought me a Jack-in-the-box...

Great Grandma Schovanec got me a crawl ball.

I had fun playing with it...AND...I got my first tooth that day!

Christmas Day I helped Mommy and Grandma prepare...

By snooping in some gifts before anyone got there.

My cousin, Sydnee, played with me a lot. So did Braden, Carson and Halie. Logan especially made me laugh out loud.

It was too cold outside so Dada made a make-shift sled for me...

That was sure a fun week...I can't wait for next year.
